Photography Session Details
What if it rains on the day of our shoot?
Don’t worry, I have lots of experience shooting in different weather conditions. We’ll make a plan B together, whether that’s moving locations, adjusting the time, or embracing the romantic vibe of Florence in the rain. Sometimes rainy shoots turn out to be the most magical.
HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL PHOTO SESSION LAST?
I recommend at least one hour for couples or families of 1–4 people at 1–2 nearby locations. This gives us enough time for both posed portraits and candid moments at a relaxed pace.
DO YOU OFFER CUSTOMIZABLE PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES?
Yes, every session is tailored to your needs and style. Whether you want specific locations, outfits, or additional services, I’ll customize a package just for you.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE PHOTOSHOOT?
Choose timeless, comfortable outfits in neutral or soft tones that feel like you. Flowing dresses or chic separates photograph beautifully against the Italian landscape. Check out my blog for more tips.
What if we’re awkward in front of the camera?
That’s totally normal, most of my clients feel the same way! I’ll gently guide you through natural poses and create space for candid moments to unfold. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, so your photos reflect genuine connection and joy, not stiff poses.
How do you handle shy or fussy kids during family sessions?
I work with your family’s pace and energy level. I keep sessions fun and flexible, many parents are surprised how smooth and joyful the experience feels.
Post Photoshoot
When will I receive my photos?
You’ll get a sneak peek within 24–72 hours, and your full gallery in 3–5 weeks. Some wedding or travel seasons may require slightly more time to ensure quality editing.
How do we receive our photos?
Via a password-protected online gallery, where you can view, download, and share high-resolution and web-sized images.
CAN WE GET THE RAW FILES?
I don’t provide RAW files, but I deliver fully edited images that reflect your experience and my artistic vision. If you have specific preferences, I’m happy to accommodate within that vision.
Booking and Logistics
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK A PHOTOSHOOT?
To ensure availability, I recommend booking as early as possible. I can sometimes accommodate bookings with just one week’s notice if my schedule allows.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT YOU?
Email at hello@molliepritchett.com or use my website’s contact form. This ensures your message reaches me no matter where you are in the world.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL MY PHOTOSHOOT?
Rescheduling is always possible. If you cancel at least a week before, I’ll refund your deposit in full.
ARE THERE ANY TRAVEL or location FEES?
I’m based in Florence, and sessions beyond ~10 miles (15 km) may include a travel fee. Any additional transfers like taxis aren’t included in your quote. I’ll always be transparent about any extra costs.
Will you travel to my vacation villa in Tuscany?
Yes, I’m happy to come to your villa or local gathering spot. This creates a relaxed, personalized photoshoot experience perfect for families or extended groups.
How much does a photo session cost?
Every session is personalized, so pricing depends on the type of shoot, location, length of time, and number of people involved. Whether you're planning a short couple session in Florence or a full-day celebration in Tuscany, I’ll tailor a quote to your specific needs.
Just reach out through my contact form, share a bit about what you’re envisioning, and I’ll send you all the details with no pressure to commit.
We only have one day in Florence, can we still fit in a shoot?
Absolutely. I often arrange early morning or sunset sessions to maximize light and minimize crowds, even for short itineraries.
Location and Planning
CAN YOU HELP WITH LOCATION SCOUTING?
Yes, I personally help all my clients choose the perfect location for their session. From iconic landmarks to quiet side streets, I offer suggestions based on the look you’re going for, your group size, and the time of year.
I’ll also help you think through important factors like lighting, crowd levels, and walkability. For example, Piazzale Michelangelo has a beautiful view but can get very crowded at sunset in high season, I’ll help you choose the right time or suggest quieter alternatives.
WHAT IS THE BEST TIME OF DAY FOR A PHOTOSHOOT?
The best times to shoot are early morning (just after sunrise) or golden hour before sunset — the light is soft, flattering, and magical. Morning sessions are ideal for avoiding crowds, especially in high season.
That said, I’ll work with your schedule and help you plan the best time for light, comfort, and location — so we can create something beautiful together.
I'm planning a surprise proposal in Florence, can you help?
Absolutely. I’ve helped plan many surprise proposals in Florence and love making them feel effortless and unforgettable. I’ll guide you through timing, lighting, and choosing the perfect location based on your vision. I also offer tips for staying discreet so the moment feels natural, and magical.
Whether you're envisioning something quiet and romantic or bold and scenic, I’ll help you pull it off beautifully.
