Family Portraits near Piazzale Michelangelo
The morning summer light in Florence is something magical. Combine that with a love for photography and great things will happen. It was a pleasure to be able to photograph this beautiful family. They were fun and relaxed from the start and I could tell they were thoroughly enjoying their stay in Italy.
Piazzale Michelangelo is one of my favorite spots in Florence to do a photoshoot. The square overlooks the city and no matter how many times I’ve seen the view, I never get tired of looking at it. The great thing, is it’s also close to San Miniato al Monte. A basilica that sits even higher than Piazzale Michelangelo and has even more spectacular views.
As we made our way up the steps I was able to capture some beautiful and adorable family moments.
