Lifestyle Product Photography in Florence, Italy
This past January I had the pleasure of photographing Jose-Noel Rocha, creative director and lead designer for J.L. Rocha Collections. Jose-noel immediately struck me as a person who knows what they want and has the skills, personality and talent to get it. He explained to me his role in the company and a little about each product and then we quickly got to work.
We met in the morning by The Gates of Paradise in front of the Duomo of Florence. We made our way through the historical center then climbed all the way up to San Miniato al Monte finishing the shoot with the stunning vista of the city from a birds eye view.
J.L. Rocha makes handmade leather goods from Mexico. During this shoot, we were focusing on products that would be highlighted in their 2018 lookbook. Some of the products included leather jackets, gloves, shoes and bags, as you’ll see in the photos below.
“…from the ancient craftsmanship of florentine architecture and the colorful minimalistic palate from Mexico’s own Cabo San Lucas, we present a new set of designs that mixes the livelihood of both locations.”
