Dreaming in Motion
I‘ve been inspired for a while now by Jamie Beck & Kevin Burg to start doing Cinemagraphs (Moving Still Photographs). Photography has always had a sense of mystery and magic for me but by adding a little motion it just takes the story to an entirely new and exciting level. Moving images have been around for quite a long time but it wasn’t until Jamie Beck & Kevin Burg started creating these images for their blog that people started taking notice.
This past summer I was able to take my favorite model, my sister, along with me on a photo shoot. Emma played along while I had her try out every possible perfect spot for photos before my client arrived. After a successful shoot we sat down and decided to use the last of the light to try a cinemagraph.
